What you are buying

A custom portrait made from a photograph you supply, printed and finished to the specification you choose at checkout. 

Your photograph

By sending a photograph you confirm you have the right to use it. If it was taken by a professional photographer, you may need their permission — that one catches people out, and it is worth checking before you order. 

The artwork

You own the physical piece you buy, and you may photograph it, hang it and give it away freely. I keep the copyright in the artwork itself, which means I do not reproduce your portrait for anyone else, and commercial reproduction rights are not included in the purchase. 

Timing

Turnaround times are honest estimates, not guarantees. Where a deadline matters, agree it with me in writing before you order. 

Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout, before work begins. Refunds are covered in Returns & Revisions.
