Send me your photographs. Two or three good ones beat a dozen average ones.

Here's what makes one good:

Outdoors on an overcast day. Flat light shows the real color of the coat.

At your animal's eye level. Photos taken from standing height flatten the face.

Close enough that the eyes are sharp. The eyes are where the likeness lives.

And one of your whole pet, standing or lying down. That one doesn't need to be a good photo — I just need to see the shape of their body.
